During a long and successful career as employee and owner of a four location electrical wholesale supply business, our Founder began a second wholesale distribution business to provide specialty electrical distribution apparatus not only to his own firm, but to cater to the construction needs of contractors and industry well outside his firm’s traditional geographic boundaries. After selling his electrical supply business in the mid ‘90s, he took up his new career at Breaker King, dedicating his time, energy and experience to growing and shaping his fledgling enterprise. In early 2001, the business relocated to a new, custom-designed office and warehouse facility. The following year, it expanded further by acquiring the circuit breaker testing business and equipment of Circuit Protection Industries, integrating a full-service breaker testing lab into its operations. Since its founding 30 years ago, Breaker King has become one of the most recognized, trusted and respected suppliers of replacement and add-on electrical distribution components and hardware in the country.
